Hera United Has Received the Green Light To Take about Telstar’s License Just Before the Start of the Women’s Eredivisie. The New Professional Women’s Club Can Now Enter the Eredivisie Under Its Own Name.
It had Been Known for some time that Hera United, the First Professional Women’s Football Club Ever, Planned to Join the Eredivisie in Place of Telstar. The Independent Licensing Committee of the KNVB Still had to approach this intention.

Due to the Decision of the Licensing Committee, Hera United can play its first official match under its own name on Sunday at AZ. In recent weeks, the name of the Women of Telstar, Still Used was in the official match Schedule of the KNVB.
Hera United Will Play Its First Home Match Against PEC on September 21. That match Will Be Played at Sportpark Good enough in Amsterdam, The Home of Amateur Club AFC. That location services as an interim solution until the club has its own accommodation.
Hera United revealed when announcing the plans that the Olympic Stadium in Amsterdam was the intended home, but the club can only play a few matches per season there. Hera United Wants to use that Stadium for Big Matches.
