Tourists spent 111 billion euros last year, mainly rise among foreigners

Dutch and Foreign Tourists spent on 111 Billion euros in the Netherlands Last Year. That is Almost 6 Billion Euros More than in 2023. Foreign Tourists in Indular Spent More.

Dutch People Still Account for the Largest Share of Total Tourist Spending, AT 67.3 Billion Euros, Reports Statistics Agency CBS.

Foreign Tourists spent 38.2 Billion Euros Last Year. That is about a third of the total tourist spending in the Netherlands. The Figures can be Seen in the Graph Below.

The Total Added Value of Tourism is 40 Billion euros. “This Almost Reaches The Level of 2019 Again, Before the Corona Pandemic,” Writes the CBS. Employment is also recovering, but has not yet reached the level before the corona pandemic.

The Added Value of Tourism is Growing Faster Than The Total Economy. The Share of Tourism in the Total Economy is Therefore Increasing Slightly, from 3.9 to 4 percent.
