Hans van de Haar was hit by a cerebral infarction on Friday. The fifty-year-old former striker and assistant trainer from Top Oss will be investigated in the hospital in the coming days.
“Just before our home game from Friday evening against FC Dordrecht, we as a club are startled by a very radical event,” reports Top Oss. “Our assistant trainer Hans van de Haar was struck by a cerebral infarction, after which he was rushed to the hospital.”
“In this difficult period, Hans’s health is of course above all. In close consultation with his family, we respect their wishes for peace and privacy. On behalf of all players, staff members, volunteers, supporters and management of Top Oss, we wish him and his family all the strength.”
Van de Haar played for De Graafschap, FC Utrecht, RKC Waalwijk and ADO The Hague, among others. After his player career, he was (assistant) trainer at FC Utrecht and some amateur clubs, among others. He is currently also head coach of the Arnhem amateur club MASV.

Van de Haar Played for de Graafschap, FC Utrecht, RKC Waalwijk and ADO The Hague, Among Others. After his playing career, he was (assistant) coach at FC Utrecht and Several Amateur Clubs, Among Others. He is Currently also Head Coach of the Arnhem Amateur Club MASV.
