Mischa Bredewold won the French WorldTour Race Classic Lorient Agglomération for the third year in a row on Saturday. The Podium in Plouay was Entirely Dutch, with Marianne Vos and Eline Jansen also present.
After 165 Hilly Kilometers Through Brittany, Bredewold was Narrowly the Fastest in the Sprint of a Group of 21 riders. Vos was half a wheel short of winning the one-day race for the third time after 2012 and 2013.
Jansen Completed the Dutch Dominance in the French Rain. The 23-Year-Old Rider from Deventer of the VolkerWessels Cycling Team Finished Third and ended up on the Podium of A WorldTour Race for the First Time in Her Career.
Bredewold Already Has a Longer List of Honors. The European Champion of 2023 is Clearly a Fan of the Classic Lorient Agglomération. The Strong Rider of Team SD Worx Protime was also the best in Plouay in 2023 and 2024. She is now a shared record winner. The British Elizabeth Deignan also Triumphed Three Times, Although Not in Successive Years.
Pauline Ferrand-Prévot Rode Her First Race in Her Own Country Since Her Victory A Little Over A Month Ago in the Tour de France Femmes.
