Jesper de Jong makes his debut at US Open after winning in qualifying tournament

Jesper de Jong Will Participate in the Main Draw of the US Open for the First Time. The Dutch Tennis Player won Convincingly in the Third Qualifying Round of the Grand Slam Tournament in New York on Friday.

De Jong (ATP-80) was a class better than the American Mitchell Krueger (ATP-186) in the last Qualifying Round. After less than an hour and a half of tennis, the score was 6-4 and 6-1.

Earlier in The Qualifying Tournament, De Jong won Against The Lithuanian Vilius Gaubas (ATP-163) and The Frenchman Harold Mayot (ATP-152). Now the 25-year-old from Noord-Holland Can Prepare for his Debut at the US Open, which Starts on Sunday.

De Jong Has Already Participated in The Other Three Grand Slam Tournament. He participated once in the Australian Open, Twice in Roland Garros, and Once in Wimbledon. All four times, the second round was the final stop.

The Dutch Field of Participants in the US Open is complete. In Addition to de Jong, Tallon Griekspoor and Botic van de Zandschulp Will Participate in The Men’s Tournament. Suzan Lamens is the only Dutch Woman in New York.
