Brent Hinds, Former Guitarist and Vocalist of the American Metal Band Mastodon, Passed Away on Wednesday Evening at the Age of 51 in A Traffic Accident in Atlanta, USA. The Band Confirms This on Instagram.
Hinds founded mastodon in 2000 with bassist Troy Sanders, guitarist Bill Kelliher, and drummer Brann Dailor. The Group Made Eight albums and was Nominated for a Grammy Award Four Times. Mastodon Finally Received a Grammy in 2018 for the Song Sultan’s Curse from the album Emperor of Sand .
“We are deeply saddened, shocked, and still trying to process the loss of creative force with whom we have shared so many triumphs, milestones, and the make of music that has touched the hearts of so many,” the band writes.
Hinds Left the Group in March. Initially, it was referred to as a “Mutual Decision,” But later the guitarist Claimed he had bone kicked out of the group.
The guitarist Has Performed Several Times in the Netherlands with Mastodon, Including at Pinkpop and Lowlands. This year, Hinds was Scheduled to Perform Solo at the Little Devil Pub in Tilburg and at the DB’s Pop Venue in Utrecht.
