Wild Romance changes band name and releases new album

The Dutch rock band Wild Romance continues under the name Romanza Brava. The group, consisting of Jo De Roeck, Otto Cooymans, Jan ‘t Hoen and John Aponno, also releases a new album on 29 August.

The band will be touring pop stages in the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium in the coming months. The performances are a tribute to their guitarist Dany Lademacher, who died on July 3.

“It’s not about who is left, but about what we have created. We are only there to keep the estate alive,” the band writes in a statement.

Wild Romance was founded in 1976 and was the accompaniment band of Herman Brood. Ten years after Broods Dying In 2001, the band started making music again and former band members joined again.
