Birthday Klaver fills confidence for World Cup with second time in rain in Lausanne

Lieke Klaver refueled on Wednesday on her 27th birthday towards the World Cup Athletics in Japan. In the pouring rain, the Dutch recorded the second time in the 400 meters in the Diamond League match in Lausanne, Switzerland.

In preparation for the World Cup, Klaver takes part in the Diamond League match in Brussels (Friday) and the Diamond League final in Zurich (27 and 28 August). Femke Bol is also present at the last game. The 400 meters hurdles was not on the program in Lausanne and Bol skips the competition in Brussels.
