Supervisor warns of lingeriebsite shopsaph.com

If you buy Lingerie at web store ShopsapH.com can be disadvantaged. The Netherlands Authority for Consumers & Markets (ACM) warns against the practices of owner Ultracool, which sells the lingerie brand Sapph. The supervisor received complaints and suspects that the seller is in violation.

In recent months, the ACM received hundreds of reports from customers who did not receive their order or did not get money back. Customer service would also be difficult to reach. There would be a “real and acute risk” that more people will be disadvantaged.

Ultracool, which sells bras, slips, lingerie and swimwear via ShoppsapH.com, had promised, according to the ACM, that the problems would be resolved quickly.

“Despite the previously made agreements, the ACM concludes that the company does not comply with that,” writes the regulator, who still receives reports of dissatisfied customers.

The ACM also suspects that there is deception, because the Rotterdam court ruled that Ultracool is not the rightful brand holder of Sapph. Possibly Ultracool may not sell the brand, but it is up to the brand owner to act against it, says an ACM spokesperson.

Ultracool and shopsapH.com were not available by telephone for comment.
