Vincent Janssen scored again for Royal Antwerp in the Jupiler Pro League on Sunday. The Dutch striker helped his team to a 1-1 draw against KRC Genk.
The 31-year-old Janssen gave Antwerp the lead halfway through the first half. The striker scored while falling after a cross from Gyrano Kerk.
It was Janssen’s second league goal of the season. Last week he scored in the opening match of the season against Union Saint-Gilloise (1-1).
Genk equalized within five minutes. Zakaria El Ouahdi finished off a nice attack from the home team. No more goals were scored in the Cegeka Arena after that.
Janssen played the entire match for Antwerp as captain. Kerk was substituted just before the end of the match. Glenn Bijl remained on the bench for the visitors.
