Mart Hoogkamer has found his dog Ciro, who had been missing for days, on Saturday. With a photo on Instagram, the 27-year-old folk singer celebrates the reunion with his “buddy”.
Dog Ciro had been missing since Wednesday. The pet was staying in Ede that day and ran away in the evening. Shortly afterwards, Hoogkamer called on his followers on social media to help with the search.
The search operation led to considerable activity in a wooded area in Ede in recent days. The Dog Search Group repeated the call on Saturday morning for “day trippers” to stay away from the forest.
Initially, a finder’s fee of 5,000 euros was also offered. Hoogkamer withdrew that after hundreds of phone calls came in with unusable tips.
