The life of Tineke de Nooij is the subject of a new book. Her life story is currently recorded by journalist Gideon van Aartsen, says the presenter in the Max-Podcast Slagter and Dresselhuys broadcaster know better .
The 84-year-old De Nooij actually had “no sense in a biography”, but was persuaded. “I said: let it become a book with stories from my life. Because if you throw in a quarter, I have a story.”
Although the presenter previously published four books, she did not want to write her memoirs herself. “I have tried it once, but then it will be a kind of essay from the fourth grade. Gideon can do it better.”
De Nooij is the first female disc jockey in the Netherlands. From the eighties she presented various television programs, including the successful afternoon program Tineke .
It is not yet known when the book will appear.
