Feyenoord continues and gets seventh summer improvement with Back Jordan Bos

Feyenoord has announced the arrival of Jordan Bos on Friday. The left-back is transferring from the Belgian KVC Westerlo. The Australian is already the seventh reinforcement for the Rotterdam club this summer.

Feyenoord is reportedly paying around 5 million euros for the 22-year-old Bos, who has a Dutch father. The wing defender has signed a contract in De Kuip until mid-2029.

Bos was already a fan of Feyenoord as a child. “As a child, outside of summer vacations in the Netherlands, I didn’t experience much of the country, but I have worn that shirt around my shoulders countless days,” says the nineteen-time international on the Feyenoord website.

“So you could say that I was partly raised with Feyenoord. That was always far away, literally and figuratively. The fact that I am now here and a player is, of course, incredible in that regard. I know what De Kuip can be like, and now I get to truly experience it as a player. Wonderful.”

Bos provides more options for coach Robin van Persie in the left-back position. The club recently parted ways with Quilindschy Hartman and Hugo Bueno. In Rotterdam, Bos must compete with Gijs Smal.

Feyenoord has been very active in the transfer market this summer. The club previously signed Gonçalo Borges (FC Porto), Gaoussou Diarra (Istanbulspor), Sem Steijn (FC Twente), Casper Tengstedt (Benfica), Luciano Valente (FC Groningen), Tsuyoshi Watanabe (KAA Gent).
