The fifth season of Only Murders in the Building will be released on September 9 on Disney+. The lead roles are once again for Selena Gomez, Steve Martin and Martin Short, who return as the amateur detective trio Mabel, Charles and Oliver.
The comedy series is about two older men and a young woman who together make a podcast about murders that are committed in and around their apartment complex in New York.
In the new season, the three investigate the death of Lester, the doorman of the Arconia apartment complex. That mystery was introduced in the final episode of the previous season.
In addition to the regular leads, this season also stars Meryl Streep, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Richard Kind, Nathan Lane, Michael Cyril Creighton, Keegan-Michael Key and Renée Zellweger.
The first three episodes will be released on September 9, followed by weekly new episodes.
