Leonie ter Braak visits prominent B&B Vol liefde participants in the new Hoe Is het Nu Met? episode of the popular RTL program. How did they experience the sudden attention? And who ultimately found true love?
Ter Braak starts in sunny Blanes, where former participant Mike runs his water sports company. During his season, he seemed to have a great time with Noor, but now he proudly shows Ter Braak a photo of his new girlfriend. The viewer doesn’t get to see her. “I’m completely in love.”
He didn’t find love on the show, but Mike did maintain a special friendship with his fellow contestant Els. The two even participated together in the program Het Jachtseizoen (2024).
The sixty-year-old former stewardess originally signed up for Robert-Jan, who called himself “an old corps member” in the Scottish mountains. The two seemed to get along well, but Robert-Jan didn’t feel a spark. He did feel that with Suzanne. They were still together at the reunion, but last Thursday it was announced that their relationship is now over.
‘I just haven’t met him yet’
Els is still looking for a nice man. “But the ones I like are always married,” she confesses to Ter Braak. “So that’s a no-go. I just haven’t met him yet.”
Iris, who was looking for a “party animal” and “wild sex,” also didn’t succeed in the program. Yet the 59-year-old isn’t completely alone with her cigarette and coffee at breakfast. Skipper Jan didn’t manage to win Iris’ heart during filming, but they are still good friends and have regular contact.
“I love Jan,” says Iris. “But as a very special friend.” Jan is even looking for a house near Iris. “Then we can yamassen (cheers, ed.) often.”
‘I dare to walk around naked in front of him’
For Thijz in France, the program had a less rosy outcome. “It’s going well, but the moments of silence are less pleasant,” says the 66-year-old campsite owner.
Thijz still has contact with one of the ladies, although he can’t remember her name for a moment. He has adjusted his expectations about love: “I’m no longer looking. I’ve written a different story for myself and now assume that I’ll stay alone. It’s better to be satisfied with what is, than to remain dissatisfied with what isn’t.”
Ter Braak also visits the colorful Debbie, who is still together with her boyfriend Paul. The two have been happy for two years now. “I dare to walk around naked in front of him,” says Debbie. The couple looks to the future with confidence.
Amy Rose misses her family in the Netherlands
The 56-year-old spiritual Walter is still happy with his 28-year-old girlfriend Anna Linde, whom he met after the program.
Judith let both men and women visit her farm in France during her season. In the end, she only had eyes for Bart from Rotterdam. The two are still together and run the farm together. Bart has almost completely given up his beloved Feyenoord to live with Judith almost full-time. “I don’t regret it for a second.”
In Seefeld, ski instructor Mike eventually found love with Denise, whom he had previously rejected. He previously had a connection with Antine. But his mother Monique played a big role in their relationship, which according to Antine led to a break-up. Yet Mike’s participation did have a happy result: he is now together with Denise after all. The two are currently in Spain to see if they can set up something together. Of course, together with Mike’s father and mom Mo.
Real estate agent Saul found his ideal partner in Amy Rose. They live together in the Swiss mountains with their baby Sarah Rose. Amy Rose sometimes finds it difficult to be so far away from her family and friends. “I miss them,” says the 22-year-old brunette in tears. “It’s really hard sometimes, but I eventually find a balance.” The couple would like another child.
‘Everyone may know: I love you!’
The 72-year-old good-natured Anja is still alone in her French B&B. She had a connection with Peter, but nothing came of it. “I would have liked to keep in touch with Peter, but that didn’t happen.” Anja is no longer dating. “Through the program, I have learned to appreciate my life alone again.”
The high-profile castle manager Albert found love with his ‘puppy’ Joyce. They are still so happy together that the 65-year-old Albert gets down on one knee for his 53-year-old girlfriend during the Hoe Is Het Nu Met? episode. “Dear Joyce, you’re probably thinking now: he’s not going to propose to me now with all these people around?”, says Albert visibly emotional. “I am going to do that, because everyone may know: I love you!” After Joyce’s yes, tears flow and a toast can be made to the successful B&B match.
