Lewis Capaldi hand out 734,000 hours of free online therapy

Lewis Capaldi, together with an online therapy company, is providing 734,000 hours of free therapy for people in need. The singer of Someone You Loved wants to highlight the importance of therapy.

“Therapy is the reason I can be a musician again,” Capaldi says in a video announcing the initiative. The Scottish singer has Tourette’s syndrome.

The number of hours available amounts to a thousand hours a day since Capaldi announced a break in 2023 due to his syndrome, which limited him during live performances.

His last show of 2023 was at Glastonbury, where he couldn’t finish his songs and the audience sang for him. This year, he made his comeback at the festival.

“I don’t think I’ll ever stop therapy,” Capaldi says in his video. “It’s very important for me to give my fans, who have always supported me, access to online therapy. This is my way of giving back.”
