Actress Denise Richards and her husband Aaron Phypers are separating after eight years. This is reported by American media such as TMZ. Phypers has filed the divorce papers. He cites “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the divorce.
The two actors married almost seven years ago. According to the divorce papers, they would have definitively separated last Friday.
It was their second marriage for both. Richards, 54, was married to actor Charlie Sheen from 2002 to 2006. With him, she had two daughters: Sam (14) and Lola (13). In 2011, she adopted daughter Eloise. Phypers, 52, was previously married to Desperate Housewives star Nicollette Sheridan.
The couple previously announced that Phypers was in the process of officially recognizing Eloise as his daughter, but it is unclear whether this process has already been completed.
Richards is known for the films Starship Troopers and Wild Things and the James Bond film The World Is Not Enough. She also played a small role in Love Actually.
