After rainy summer days, the sun will reappear on Wednesday. Temperatures will rise throughout the week, making for pleasant summer weather over the weekend. Extreme heat will remain absent for the time being.
After two rainy days, the sun will shine again from Wednesday, says Alfred Snoek of Weerplaza to NU.nl. “On Wednesday, the wind will weaken, there may still be a local shower, but the sun will be seen regularly.”
That is a significant shift after days with a lot of rain and even code orange last week in a number of provinces due to heavy showers. The change will continue throughout the week. “We are going to see a cautious recovery in temperature,” says Snoek. Over the weekend it will be around 25 to 27 degrees: “Pleasant summer weather.”
According to Snoek, these temperatures are “slightly higher than usual, but not exceptional.” A heat wave like last week, with tropical temperatures of more than 30 degrees, will therefore not occur. “I don’t see that happening for the time being,” says the meteorologist.
But the absence of heat is no reason to leave the sunscreen at home. The sun is shining brightly, with a force of 7, making it important to apply sunscreen properly.
