Jessie J has received a lot of support from her mother since she was diagnosed with breast cancer this year. Despite the circumstances, she enjoys the time they spend together.
“Mom, you are a superhero and an angel,” the 37-year-old singer writes on Instagram. “When I got the diagnosis, my mother said: I’m coming to live with you.”
“She has put her whole life on hold to support Chanan, Sky, and me during this busy time,” continues Jessie J, who has a son named Sky with her partner Chanan Colman. “I am so grateful. More than words can express.”
Although the circumstances are “rotten,” the artist appreciates the time she spends with her mother. “I said to you today: if cancer has anything positive, it is that we spend so much time together. Sky is so lucky to have you. I love you so much and I am so grateful to you. There is a vacation at my expense in the future.”
Jessie J shared in early June that she had an early stage of breast cancer. She underwent surgery a few weeks later.
