164 km – fall! The first fall of the day is a fact, and they are two men in the leading group! Andreas Leknessund and Yevgeniy Fedorov slide on the slippery asphalt. They get up again, but now have to pursue the front duo. Armirail and Van Moer remained upright.
165 km – the difference between the leading group and the peloton has risen slightly again, to 3 minutes . The peloton is working incredibly hard to keep the differences limited, in particular by Team Alpecin-DECEUNINCK and Team Intermarché-Wanty.

Another 175 km – The difference between the leading group and the peloton is about 2 minutes and 45 seconds .
Another 177 km- Team Intermarché-Wanty is hard at work at the head of the Peloton to limit the difference with the leading group, just like Team Alpecin-DECEUNINCK. A little after 150 kilometers of course, the intermediate sprint is on the program, and both teams have a candidate for the points classification with Biniam Girmay and Jasper Philipsen respectively.
As you can see: the weather conditions are not exactly improved.

Still 199 km – The foursome in the front works well together, and has already gathered a 2 -minute lead together and 10 seconds .
Another 202 km – We are only on the road for a few minutes, but there are already dozens of riders on the side for a pee break.
Another 203 km – yes! The four men hit a serious hole, so it seems that we are watching the flight of the day. Armirail, Fedorov, Van Moer and Leknessund currently have about 50 seconds on the peloton. Armirail, Fedorov, Van Moer and Leknessund Currently Have About 50 Seconds On The Peloton. The Controllers of the Large Group, Especally Alpecin-DECEUNINCK, Will Be Happy That Only Four Men Are Part of the Escape.
205 km to go – The Weather Conditions Are Really Terrible in Northern France! It’s raining very hard, and the asphalt looks very slippery. Escaping under thesis circumstances, you have to be able to do it. Four men have a gap, let’s see how far they get.
