Tour de France 2025 has thirteen Dutch participants: these are all of them

The Tour de France Starts on Saturday with Thirteen Dutch Riders, Accordination to the List of Participants. That is the smallest number in three years.

Ineos was the last of the 23 cycling teams to announce the tour selection on Wednesday and raised the number of Dutch participants to thirteen. Thymen Arensman is participating in the World’s Biggest Cycling Race on Behalf of the British Team.

In The Past Two Tour Editions, Fourteen Dutch Riders Were At The Start. The Number is Slightly Lower This Year, Partly because the Dutch Team Visma-Lease A Bike is Starting Without Compatriots.

The Record Number of Dutch Participants is Thirty and Dates from 1989. That was at a time when a tour team consisted of nine riders. Since 2018, that number has been reduced to eight riders per tour team.

In 1936 and 1963, The Fewest Dutch Riders Were at the Start of the Tour: Four. Only Twice a Dutchman won the Tour de France. Those Were Icons Jan Janssen (1968) and Joop Zoetemelk (1980).

Zoetemelk is The Most Successful Dutch Tour Rider of All Time with One Overall Victory and Eleven Stage Victories. Jan Raas and Gerrie Knetemann Follow With Ten Stage Victories. With Six Stage Victories, Groenewegen is The Most Successful Dutch Tour Rider of the Moment.

The 112th Edition of the Tour de France Starts on Saturday at 1:40 pm in Lille. A Total of 184 riders are at the start.
