Lewis Capaldi announces the first tour in two years after returning to Glastonbury

Lewis Capaldi is returning to the stage next fall with a new tour. The Scottish singer announced via Instagram on Monday that he will be giving ten concerts in the United Kingdom and Ireland in September.

“It’s about time I got back to work… Hope to see you all there,” the 28-year-old artist writes in the announcement. Capaldi was on stage for the first time in two years on Friday during a surprise performance at Glastonbury.

The singer stopped performing in 2023 due to the impact of Tourette’s syndrome, which he has been struggling with for several years. During his last show at the time, also at Glastonbury, he was so bothered by his tics that he couldn’t finish his songs. The audience then sang the songs for him.

Capaldi will perform in September in London, Glasgow, Sheffield, Manchester, Cardiff and Dublin, among other cities. He has announced ten dates so far.
