Freek de Jonge is taking his election conference back to the theater in the run-up to the House of Representatives elections on October 29. The series of performances is called De Stemming 7 and starts on Sunday, July 6.
According to De Jonge, this conference will be his “strictest ever.” “Democracy is at stake,” says the eighty-year-old comedian.
De Jonge will perform the show in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Alkmaar, and Haarlem, among other places.
Since 2003, De Jonge has been making a conference around every election under the title De Stemming. He was forced to miss the previous elections due to illness.
