Princess Amalia will resume her duties on Wednesday after surgery on her broken arm. The princess, along with her father, will attend a military ceremony at the Prins Bernhardkazerne in Amersfoort on June 18, according to the Government Information Service.
Amalia broke her upper arm last week after falling off her horse. The 21-year-old daughter of King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima had to undergo surgery as a result. This took place in the UMC Utrecht.
The bi-annual photo session with the royal family, which was originally scheduled for June 12, was postponed due to Amalia’s arm fracture. The photo opportunity with the King and Queen and the three princesses will now be held on June 30.
