VVD, BBB and NSC have posted posts, outgoing the outgoing cabinet

VVD, BBB, and NSC have filled all open positions in the caretaker cabinet. NSC filled the last two positions on Sunday evening. The other two coalition parties announced their choices earlier.

NSC Member of Parliament Daniƫlle Jansen will become the caretaker Minister of Health, Welfare, and Sport. She succeeds the departed PVV member Fleur Agema.

Hanneke Boerma will become State Secretary for Foreign Trade, the party reports. She will partially take over the tasks of the resigned Minister Reinette Klever (PVV). It was previously announced that Foreign Minister Caspar Veldkamp (NSC) will take over development aid. That is the other half of the portfolio that Klever leaves behind.

The VVD is moving State Secretary Vincent Karremans (Public Health) to the Minister of Economic Affairs position. Karremans will be succeeded by Member of Parliament Judith Tielen. Member of Parliament Thierry Aartsen will become State Secretary for Infrastructure.

The BBB has nominated Robert Tieman, a board member of the Delfland water board, as Minister of Infrastructure. Nicki Pouw-Verweij, previously a Member of Parliament and now a policy officer, will become State Secretary for Long-Term Care.

The cabinet collapsed almost two weeks ago after PVV leader Geert Wilders stepped out of the coalition. He withdrew all ministers from his party from the cabinet. The distribution of the vacant ministerial posts did not proceed easily.
