Haley Joel Osment moet van een rechter de komende zes maanden drie keer per week naar bijeenkomsten van Anonieme Alcoholisten (AA).
De 37-jarige Osment moet in januari 2026 opnieuw voorkomen. Als zijn gedrag dan niet is verbeterd, kan hij alsnog een andere straf krijgen.
Tijdens zijn arrestatie noemde de acteur een agent volgens People “een fucking nazi”. Osment bood eerder al zijn excuses aan voor het incident.
Osment is vooral bekend van de film The Sixth Sense uit 1999. Daarin speelde hij het jongetje dat geesten ziet. Het leverde hem destijds een Oscar-nominatie op. Ook was hij te zien in films als Forrest Gump (1994) en Blink Twice (2024).

The 37-year-old Osment must reappear in court in January 2026. If his behavior has not improved by then, he could still face a different punishment.
During his arrest, the actor reportedly called an officer “a fucking nazi” according to People. Osment had previously apologized for the incident.
