Het verkeer rond Amsterdam is dinsdag mede door gesloten spitsstroken “compleet vastgelopen”, meldt de ANWB. Door een technische storing kan met de verkeerscamera’s geen toezicht worden gehouden op de spitsstroken in heel Noord-Holland.
Daarnaast is in de Coentunnel een ongeluk gebeurd. “Het heeft veel impact”, zegt een woordvoerder van de ANWB tegen persbureau ANP.
Op de A9 van Amstelveen naar Alkmaar loopt de vertraging op tot een uur, net als op de A10-West en de A5. Op onderstaande afbeelding van de ANWB is goed te zien hoe druk het rond Amsterdam is.
De spitsstroken zijn gesloten op de A1 tussen Hilversum-Noord en Naarden in beide richtingen, de A7 richting Hoorn tussen knooppunt Zaandam en Purmerend-Zuid en de A9 richting Alkmaar tussen knooppunt Rottepolderplein en knooppunt Velsen.
Spitsstroken kunnen pas open als Rijkswaterstaat-medewerkers hebben bekeken of de weg vrij is van obstakels.

The rush-hour lanes are closed on the A1 between Hilversum-Noord and Naarden in both directions, the A7 towards Hoorn between the Zaandam junction and Purmerend-Zuid, and the A9 towards Alkmaar between the Rottepolderplein junction and the Velsen junction.
Rush-hour lanes can only be opened once Rijkswaterstaat employees have checked that the road is free of obstacles.
