Hakim Ziyech has already left the Qatari club Al Duhail SC. This marks the end of a term of only four months.
Al Duhail, number two in the Qatar Stars League, confirmed the news on Saturday. “We would like to express our gratitude and appreciation to the Moroccan star Hakim Ziyech, given his commitment and dedication,” the club said. “We wish him every success in the continuation of his career.”
Ziyech joined Al Duhail at the end of January, who took him over from Galatasaray. Reportedly, Al Nasr FC of (then still) Alfred Schreuder was also interested. But Ziyech preferred Qatar over the United Arab Emirates.
In the past four months, Ziyech played in thirteen official matches. In these he was good for one goal and one assist.
The 32-year-old left-footed player previously played for sc Heerenveen, FC Twente, Ajax and Chelsea. Where he will continue his career is still unknown.
