Nicol Kremers refuses to pay Peter Gillis a compensation of almost 2.3 million euros that he demanded. Gillis wants money because his ex is said to have violated a non-disclosure agreement.
That was announced on Tuesday by Kremers’ lawyer Allon Kijl on her behalf during a civil lawsuit in Den Bosch. Kremers herself was not present for fear of a confrontation with her ex.
Kremers claims that she signed the agreement that prohibits her from saying anything about her time with Gillis out of fear of abuse by her ex. The 63-year-old entrepreneur denied on Tuesday that he pressured Kremers to sign the agreement. He also strongly denied ever abusing his ex.
In addition to the compensation, Gillis also demands access to the book written by Kremers before publication. The judge previously rejected that request during summary proceedings. The publication of the book has been postponed for the time being.
It is not the only case in which the former couple, known from the reality series Massa is Kassa, is involved. Kremers also reported Gillis for abuse. It is not yet known when this case will be heard.
Gillis recently received a prison sentence of twelve months, six of which were suspended, for tax fraud. He has already announced that he will appeal.
The verdict in the case regarding the non-disclosure agreement is on August 13.
