Frankfurt breaks world record with live rock band of more than 1,200 musicians

In the Waldstadion in Frankfurt, Germany, a new world record was set on Saturday for the largest live rock band. 1,231 musicians came together to make music during The Grand Jam.

This breaks the previous record from 2023. In that year, 1,112 musicians gathered in Vienna to form the largest live rock band in the world.

Many different musicians participated in the world record attempt in Frankfurt on Saturday.

The performance in the Waldstadion opened with a song by Robbie Williams. Hits by Tina Turner, Toten Hosen, and U2 also followed.
