Sophie Hilbrand said goodbye to her talk show Bar late on Thursday evening. At the end of the broadcast, she thanked the viewers for following the program. Earlier this week, BNNVARA announced that Hilbrand would be stopping with the talk show.
“This was my last Bar late,” Hilbrand said at the end of the episode. “Five years of talk show, and that doesn’t include Spraying and swallowing,” she referred to her first talk show, which was reviewed in the last item of the broadcast.
Hilbrand expressed her thanks to her guests and the audience. “I thought it was great to sit here. I have had many inspiring guests at the table here and with all that input I will continue to make other programs. And I would like to thank you as a viewer for watching. And you for coming.”
The decision to stop the talk show was taken in consultation by Hilbrand and BNNVARA. Bar late started in August 2023 and was in the last broadcast week of the second season on Thursday.
From Monday, the talk show Good evening Netherlands from WNL can be seen on the late evening of NPO 1. It will take over the time slot for the next nine weeks.
