Peter Gillis wants 2.3 million euros from his ex Nicol Kremers. He demands the amount in a substantive procedure regarding the violation of a confidentiality obligation. The case will be heard by a judge in Den Bosch on Tuesday.
Gillis and Kremers have been at odds since they broke up in early 2023. Kremers wants a confidentiality obligation to be removed. In that agreement, which she signed herself, it states that she may not comment on her relationship with Gillis or his company. She claims that she signed this contract under duress and therefore wants the court to declare it invalid.
Gillis, known from the SBS program Mass is cash register, believes that Kremers should pay because she has spoken negatively about him in interviews. Where he initially demanded 1.7 million euros during the summary proceedings, that has now risen to 2.3 million euros. He also demands access to the book that Kremers has written before it is published. The judge rejected that during the summary proceedings. The publication of this book has been postponed for the time being.
It is not the only case in which the former couple is involved. Kremers also reported Gillis for assault. It is not yet known when this lawsuit will be heard.
Gillis recently received a prison sentence of twelve months, six of which were suspended, for tax fraud. He has already announced that he will appeal against this.
